Casual Monday

Hi Friends!

If you follow ๐ŸŒปSTYLE with Glenda K. Harrison on Instagram๐ŸŒป then you know this past weekend, I shared my story at an event called Love Your Body. Love Yourself (you can see what happened by visiting my Instagram profile). The event was put on by Ehmandah (pronounced Amanda) Ramsey and her uplifting, women supporting women organization called She Stories.

It has been difficult to explain just how powerful this evening was for myself, and so many other incredible women in attendance. I left feeling completely filled-up, inspired, enriched, loved. Though many said they were moved by my presentation, I was also moved by their receptive spirits, and from the stories and music from the other presenters. I'm in great anticipation for the next She Stories event.

Because I was preparing for the She Stories event, for this week, I thought it would be appropriate to share an outfit that fits my mood. Public speaking has never been high on my Things I Love list, because of this, after the task of speaking is done, I always feel free and relaxed. I plan on taking the day off to marinade in the beauty of what I heard at She Stories, and to enjoy this Casual Monday. Enjoy!

  2. Excellent casual look.. I see many ladies rocking the headwraps and I love this..I need to learn how to wrap them... the furry plant is lamb's ear.. I love them too..I wish they programs such as yours in our area.. I'm glad I have my cyber community to keep me motivated inspired and uplifted because it's so important to have it.

    1. Jamala, it really is easy to wrap. Check out the numerous videos on YouTube. Thank you for telling me about the plant. It's so pretty. I'm going to plant some in my yard. This group of ladies is so motivating. I loved every bit of it. Women are stronger when we are together. Powerful!
