From Badass to Bonjour

The last time I sported a beret for So What to Twenty was back in February 2016 in a post called Empowerment (I'll have a picture from the post below with a link).  Since wearing the military styled look from last year's post, Maria Grazia Chiuri from Christian Dior came out with a very similar look for her fall 2017 collection (also below). Hmm, someone owes me kudos. I'm just saying. I was always taught to give credit where credit is due.

I know what you're thinking - Oh come on Glenda, do you really want us to believe your blog post was replicated by a world famous design team? Is is that far fetched to believe it was? I mean think about it, images are seen all over the Internet. Right? When you see the below pics, you be the judge.

Anyhoo, on to another subject. I decided to don the beret once again, but this time I've given it a French Flare. It's amazing what you can do with a little fun and imagination. One simple accessory takes this look from badass to bonjour. Enjoy the pics, and the shopping links. Like always, I'll meet you below in the comment section.

Empowerment - February 2016

Now take a close look. Notice the almost military vibe to the collection as compared to my look? Even the use of the strap, where I had my leopard backpack. Eerily similar.
