WIN Teddie Organics ($50+ Value)!

If you've been reading So What to Twenty for some time, then it's no secret that I love organic beauty and skincare. Like I stated over at the Beauty Bar (if you haven't been to my Beauty Bar, it's where I list all the beauty and skincare products I use), my journey to loving my skin was on a long and arduous road. At a very young age I was diagnosed with eczema. A good majority of my life was spent visiting various dermatologist who didn't have a cure for such an ailment. The best they could do was offer medications as a form of putting a band-aid on the situation.

Finally, in my 30s I began seeing a dermatologist who was interested in healing me internally. After many tests, it was discovered I was allergic to many of the items I came in contact with on a daily basis, such as laundry detergent, bath soaps, bubble bath, shampoo, etc. In addition, she spoke with me about eating whole and using vitamin supplements to help replenish where I lacked. With her help, we were able to get my lifestyle in harmony with my skin. With the analysis, it was determined that going the organic and clean route in skincare was my best option. Now, at age 51, I can finally say I love the skin I'm in!

I recently joined forces with Teddie Organics to try their products, and to give you an opportunity to win some of my favorite picks. Teddie Organics is an organic, natural skincare brand that strives to provide the best quality organic, natural skincare products for all your beauty needs. Pure ingredients, no fillers or synthetics - ever! As an example, the Rose Water is just that - Pure 100% Rose Water. No added ingredients.

During my time using the products, I decided to also try them on my fifteen year old son, who has breakouts with acne. I believe the less you do to our skin, and the less ingredients we place on it - the better. So for two weeks, my son ditched the high octane skincare treatments (that are laced with hard to pronounce ingredients) and agreed to only use CeraVe for washing, Teddie Organics Rose Water for toning, and Teddie Organics Rosehip Oil for moisture. Below are the results.

Day One

Week One
After the first week, we noticed more acne, but I realize it takes time for skin to adjust to new products.

Week Two

As you can see, his skin adjusted well, and the acne has begun to subside. Let me also add, my son is an athlete and spends most of his days exercising and sweating. This is proof that organic products can take care of skin that withstands the most brutal of activities.
