What's Interesting: Brahmin Unboxing (a special treat)

When I entered the world of blogging, I had no idea what direction my life would take. After taking a 6 year hiatus from writing to launch a cancer support service, my idea was to simply use this form of communication as a way to re-enter the world of fashion journalism. When I hit the Publish button back in 2013, little did I know So What to Twenty would take my life on an amazing journey that would segue into incredible opportunities.

But it has. And I am here in this place. A place that terrifies me, but yet, it offers so much satisfaction. I once read a quote that said, "If you want to grow, do things that are terrifying." I couldn't agree more. I entered this world armed with a powerful love for fashion, art, writing, and connection to the female spirit. Though my loves do not terrify me, what does is taking chances and making moves that I would normally shy away from. There are times when my Yes response has given me sleepless nights, but once I have accomplished what was placed before me, the feeling of achievement is insurmountable.

With that being said, after four years of working steadfast on my brand, I waltzed myself into Nordstrom and purchased myself a lovely new handbag. Was the price jaw-dropping? No, not for some, but for a woman who has come this far in the world of blogging, it meant a lot to me and gave me great pride to make this purchase. I hope you enjoy my very first Unboxing.

Though I purchased my handbag from Nordstrom, the credit card case was purchased from the Brahmin website where there are many more options. Click the links to discover the Brahmin Products.

  3. Your mother's card case will look so pretty in it! And how does it smell? New handbags and new cars have the nicest smell. I too have switched to a smaller wallet and haven't had an issue.

    1. I find that downsizing my bag is very freeing. It smells like New Handbag Heaven :) I agree, the gold hardware will work perfectly with my Mom's card case.

  6. I needed the message about doing something terrifying in order to grow. I hide from that. I need to step out more. Thanks for that.
