I am by no means ignoring all that is happening in this world. I read, hear and see the turmoil. It is disheartening. Yet, with all that is occurring around us, I try to keep my eyes focused on what is positive, cheerful and light. This world we live in is awfully heavy, and because of this, I created this post in hopes it'll give you a dose of happy.

Gone are the days when we were told our shoes and handbags had to match. In today's world, the rule of thumb is that they just need to make sense together. I always feel the excitement that occurs when spring and summer arrive. Conversations of new beginnings and reinvention are at the forefront; people are in a frenzy to ditch their winter wardrobes for lighter, more cheerful attire.
