It Is What It Is

Hello Friends!

The cool thing about being 40-something is that I no longer feel the need to explain why I do the things I do.  The 40's bring about such a confidence that one could only hope for. Once you cross over into this age bracket, you take on the mind-set of, "It is what it is."

Such is the case for today's post...It is what it is...an eclectic mix of pieces that made me feel like ME. There's no explanation to why I chose this outfit, and there's no list of links to where one can purchase the items. Just know this - I felt comfortable in making a statement that may only makes since to me.

Have a lovely week my friends, and be sure to check back with So What to Twenty often, as I frequently blog about what I love - FASHION{wink}

  4. I love the outfit, and you're right - no explanation needed. I love to "do me" when I wear certain outfits. Very liberating! Happy Monday...and don't forget to stop by and linkup today. XO!

  6. Glenda,
    I really love your style and what you are about: genuine, eclectic style that is based on accepting and loving yourself, and that does, truly, come with age ( if one is lucky. !) I love this outfit, of course, the billowing blouse and those gorgeous turguoise sandals, the anti-formulaic addition of the fedora. it is all signature Glenda! And I LOVE it.

  8. And what it is is wonderful! Such happy choices, and your very womanly persona carries them off with absolute aplomb. If you like your 40s ... you'll LOVE the coming decades. Hope I'm around to watch what you do with them!

  11. I'm still adjusting to the So What attitude. But I'm getting there, thanks to you and the other fabulous over 40 bloggers out there.

    Your outfit is so boho, love it. I like how you go from classic (that Herrera) to this flowy look.
